Ukraine Medical Outreach, Inc. began in the summer of 2001 with the goal to reach medical professionals for Christ. Ten years later, the goal is the same.

Through medical conferences and English classes, Jim is building trust, increasing competency of care, and growing relationships with healthcare providers. A very exciting aspect of this work is the growing number of medical students who are looking for ways to integrate their faith into their soon-to-be professions.

Marianna visits hospitalized HIV+ children at two area hospitals, modeling compassion and providing much-appreciated play time. She also teaches English to preschoolers who are either affected by or infected with HIV. Together, she and Jim work with visiting teams to organize camp experiences for both the outpatient and inpatient children.
