Hi and welcome! I am from the Friendswood Friends Church near Houston,Texas. Since I was in High School God has been calling and equipping me for missions. God showed himself faithful and after college called me to teach for two years in Rwanda, Africa. My first year, I taught grade school to missionary children. My second year, I taught Rwanda schoolteachers English. During my time there I began to feel God’s call to return to Rwanda full time to work alongside the church in Transformational Development.
Ministry: Jesus came to redeem all aspects of life and not just to redeem us from sin. He wants to transform everything about us. He cares about our day to day lives, our relationships, our governments, and the earth. Transformational Development is about bringing these truths into the lives of Rwandans. When I return to Rwanda I will be working with a team that walks alongside communities helping them discover how through the power of the holy spirit Jesus can impact their personal, spiritual, relational, governmental, and financial lives.
I am blessed to be apart of his work here and I am currently in the US for a year. I will be spending this time raising funds, teaching about holistic ministry, spending time with my family and taking masters classes. I will return to Rwanda in the fall or winter of 2012.
May God Bless you and yours
Life Verse: “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” John 17:3 (NIV)

Kathi is from Rose Drive Friends Church in California.
Ministry: Since 2001 Kathi has been working in Ireland as a church planter – first in Dublin, and since 2007 in Greystones, County Wicklow. As Kathi reaches out to this area by being involved in several local organizations as a volunteer, participating in local activities, beginnning a Parent and Toddler Group in her community, and leading a book study in her home. Kathi’s desire for Ireland is that they would hear God’s word in its fullness, and respond as faithful witnesses to the truth of the message they have received (Colossians 1:23-29). To that end she works to raise up disciples that have a vision for living out the gospel and carrying its message to their own communities and to the rest of the world.
Life Verse: "Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify your name forever." Psalm 86: 11, 12
